Sr. High (Grade 10-12)

One of the greatest strengths of High School at HCA is the connection and relationship that exists between staff and students. There is a genuine care and investment in student success and in valuing each student's academic, spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing.

Sr. High students have many opportunities to participate in areas of leadership, athletics, performance, ministry and discipleship. Our academic expectations prepare graduates well for success in post-secondary studies or for the workplace. Through partnerships established between Palliser School Division and numerous post-secondary institutions, a dual-credit program and work experience credits are also available to Sr. High students who qualify.

How is Faith Integrated?

Sr. High students learn how their faith interacts with the world through multiple Bible and Discipleship classes, chapel experiences, community-building events, and service opportunities and trips. The curriculum includes World Religions, Apologetics, and the Biblical Narrative through a story-formed lens.

Gr. 10-12 Academics

Cultivating Academic Excellence

Heritage Christian Academy prepares students for the requirements of provincial exams and admission into post-secondary institutions, while also meeting diverse student needs. Our teachers are passionate about supporting students through these final years in their education at HCA.

Lessons, projects and discussions are led with a biblical worldview which integrates faith into the core disciplines of Math, English, Social Studies and Science as well as the numerous options that are available.

Learning Support for students with academic learning needs will begin in the classroom with accommodations and adaptions to programming as needed. Student learning is supported by the classroom teacher through an Individual Program Plan (IPP) and various forms of assessment to support and determine areas of need.
