The Heritage Out-of-School Care Program offers safe and caring Christ-centred childcare at HCA for students from Kindergarten to 12 years of age. The program provides access to activities and resources including games, toys, books, and assorted materials based on children's interests.

Fees + Schedule for Out Of School Care 2023-24

COST $13/hour for the first hour and $6.50 per each additional half hour*

*Drop-in Care fees must be paid in cash or debit at pick-up. Priority will be given to parents who pre-register for drop-in care.

Part time Before & After School Care availability and fees are determined on request. Please reach out to us in for additional information. 


Other Fees

  • Non-refundable one-time application fee: $30 per family (due with application).
  • Late fees will be charged $10.00 if a parent is 1-10 minutes late; $1.00 per minute thereafter.
  • Program deposit: one month program fees due upon registration and will be applied to the last month enrolled in the program.

Note:

  • Professional Days (PD) care is available for $40/day. Sign-up for PD care two weeks in advance.
  • Pro-rated care rates are available for families who require regular part-time care 1-4 days a week. Please contact OutofSchoolCare@hcacalgary.com for more information.

Note: This is required for all students even if you are only interested in Drop-in/PD care.

Step 2: Review

Heritage out-of-School Care staff will review the registration form and available space. Priority will be given to those requesting full-time or consistent after school & before school care. Drop-in care students will only be able to sign up two weeks in advance for any available spots.

Step 3: Interview or Waitlist

We will contact you confirming there is space and the start date for your student(s) to enter the program. If no space is available, you will be placed on the waitlist until a spot opens up.

Step 4: Acceptance

Welcome to the program, and get ready for lots of fun!

If your child will be absent from school, you must inform the main office for the regular school day AND submit this form if they will be absent for the Out of School Care program.
