Statement of Faith

Having been raised in a home that exemplified Christ and His love, I became a Christian at a very young age. I can truly say that I have been blessed.  Through the years, my faith developed and matured and is now essential to whom I am as a person.  My faith today is stronger and deeper than it has ever been.   All that I am and do is in response to the love of God – for creating me and for saving me.

I believe in Jesus Christ.  I believe He died and rose again providing me with the gift of life. His death paid the price for my sin; a price I could never hope to pay.  Without this free gift of salvation, I would be eternally separated from the love of God. I thank Him everyday for the sacrifice He made for us all.

One of my favourite scriptures is found in I Peter 3:18 “For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit…” This scripture is so meaningful to me because it clearly states that Christ died for sins “once for all”.  Salvation is complete in Christ and it is for all.  There is no one who is exempt from the love of God.

As such, having accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every choice I make.  With His strength and His guidance, I can only hope to have a positive impact on those around me.

It is my hope and my desire to live a life that reflects Christ’s love. I therefore, make every effort to live my faith with zeal, humility and integrity.

Yours in Christ,

Miss Olson
