Mr. Kevin McCorquindale

Biography

From the beginning:

I was born in England and moved over with my family when I was 3.  I’ve been in Calgary ever since.

I received my teaching degree from the Univ. of Calgary.

I became a Christian through “Young Life” when I was 17.  Young Life is a parachurch organization that is an outreach into public high schools.  Its mission is to love teens in their own world to introduce them to the person of Jesus Christ.

 

I’ve been married 23 years and have 2 children in the school.

My eldest Jamie graduated 2 years ago and was born on my very first day as a teacher.  New job, new baby, lots of fun that first year.  He is currently taking new media design at SAIT.

I love outdoor pursuits, jazz music and coffee

I began teaching in 1992 at Heritage and I’ve been here ever since.

My home church is Centre Street Church

I teach Gr. 11/12 Biology and Chemistry + Forensics

 

Interesting Factoids

My dad is mayor of Longview AB.

I was born in a house not a hospital.

I’ve never had a broken bone.

My favorite drink from Starbucks is a

       Venti, Whole Milk, X-hot, Marble Mocha Macchiato   mmmm!
