Staff Listing

Your children bring a smile to my face each and every morning!  I love teaching grade one and I am sure that I have the best job in the school.  I have been on staff at HCA since 2004, teaching grades one and two.

I was born in Nova Scotia, and moved to Calgary in 1997.  My husband Doug works in aviation and we have two daughters, Hannah and Emma that also attend HCA.

I have a Science degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax.  I received my Bachelor of Education degree from The University of Western Ontario in London.  My first career was working as a dental hygienist, and my first teaching job was in Tuktoyaktuk, Nunavut.  This is where I met my husband!

I am the youngest of six siblings and spent a lot of my youth in church as my father was a minister.  My uncle and cousin are also ministers so it runs in the family.

It is a privilege to work in a Christian school and an honour to teach your children about the love of Christ.
