Does my child need to bring an instrument?Every child needs to bring their own instrument--instruments will not be supplied. They also need to bring reeds, oil, neck straps and any other things needed to play their instruments. Does my child need to bring music?Music will be supplied by each clinician and students will be given the mass band repertoire. Does my child need to come early?The workshops start promptly at 9:00 a.m. so please arrive in time to register, find your room and get your instrument ready to play. Are workshop fees refundable?We will refund fees in person, on the day of the workshop only, with a minimum 24 hours advance cancellation notice due to classes being set and pizza ordered. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AT A LATER DATE. Can students pick who they want to be with in a particular clinic?Typically, students are grouped according to the school they attend What should students wear?Something comfortable and not too dressy. Weather permitting, students play sports on the field outside during lunch. Can I register late?Because of the popularity of the workshop, we cannot always accept late registrations. Teachers should contact the registrar before Friday, October 3, 2008 to check for availability for late registrations. What if my child can't eat pizza?Depending on the situation, special arrangements can be made by talking to the registrar. Can students use the telephone at Heritage to call home?We encourage students to leave their cell phones at home. There is a telephone available (no payment needed) in the main hall as you come into the building. Where do we park when we bring students to the school and pick them up at the end of the day?There will be a parking attendant directing traffic to the back of the school.
